About Us

Stephan K, Owner

I am originally from Basel, Switzerland and relocated to the USA in 1999. I have been calling Wilmington home since 2012. With almost 30 years of construction experience and over 10 years of claim processing experience. I founded Disaster Management LLC in 2015 so I could use my experience to help roofing companies all over the US deal with their customers’ insurance claim process. After hurricane Florence in 2018, I decided to rather help homeowners directly, dealing with the devastation of the storm right here at home. Since then we helped over 200 local homeowners replacing their roof and negotiating with their insurance.

We recently re-named the company to DMNC ROOFING, which stands for Disaster Management North Carolina. Our crews are local, dedicated, and hard workers.

What puts us apart from our competition?

  1. We know the full insurance claim process.
  2. We don't sell you a roof, we have your insurance pay for it.
  3. We do a full FREE assessment of your roof, not just a price estimate.
  4. We never collect a down payment until the day we start  your job.
  5. We are honest, up front and always on time.

Our Approach

After the recent storms, you may have looked at your roof and questioned whether it experienced any damage. Sometimes looks can be misleading. Roof shingles may have lifted, creased, ripped, and laid back down giving the appearance that it hasn’t been affected by the storms. Damaged shingles though will never seal properly again and can eventually create leaks and over time major water damage. Over the next few years, you can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on never ending repairs, and eventually you will have to replace your roof anyway.  Many insurance companies may not pay for patched roofs to be replaced because they may consider this regular wear and tear. Therefore, it is important to have your roof inspected on a regular basis and take the appropriate actions at the right time, even if you had your insurance or another contractor recently look at your roof.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

We strive to save you both time and money by combining roofing knowledge, the highest quality parts and equipment, and dedication to delivering exceptional service. We will not leave the job until it is finished and you are satisfied with the results.
